At Mountain and Glen we aim not only to offer a fantastic range of guided walking adventures, but also to take care of every aspect of your stay, from your arrival until your departure.
The Three Peaks Challenge is our most popular adventure. For over six years now we have planned and co-ordinated Three Peaks Challenge events for groups of individuals, corporate teams and major charities. We even facilitate events for other 3 Peaks providers! We are extremely proud of our success in helping teams achieve their aims - whether that is the three peaks challenge in 24 hours, or simply getting to the finish.
Come on in to find out more About Us!
Ben Nevis is 1344 metres, Scafell Pike is 978 metres and Mount Snowdon is 1085 metres; Would you accept the challenge of scaling the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours? You do the walking, we guide you, transport you, feed you, advise and encourage you!
Why choose Mountain and Glen? Because unlike some Three Peaks providers, we don't just transport you between mountains. We offer a professionally led, quality, personal service. Why? Because, quite simply, you have a greater chance of success in a group led by one of our Mountain leaders.
Mountain and Glen's founder Jim Coughlan appeared on Channel 4's Hidden Talent show with Richard Bacon on Tuesday 15th May! If you missed it on TV, why not watch it online now on 4OD!
Jim spent over twenty years as a Royal Marines Commando and served all over the world, from the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Bosnia to the frozen wastes of the Arctic. It was in the latter environment that he learned the finer points of arctic survival.
